To help the GS1 US Community, the Standards Update section provides links and information about various activities of the Global Standards Management Process (GSMP).
The information provided will be about:
- Public Reviews - These issues and changes are needed for the larger community to review for relevance and completeness. The Community is encouraged to respond to those that they feel are applicable to their business.
- eBallots - These announcements send notice that the registered GSMP Community members should place their votes on the issue at hand.
- Calls to Action - These announcements signal the beginning of larger work efforts. The GSMP is need of broader community Involvement to help define a change or issue due to the impact to the community or the complexity of the change.
- Other Notifications - Other standards updates about which the Community should be made aware.
